Mentoring Opportunities
Our trained mentors are matched with participants to help them complete their ISPs and unleash their full potential. We can facilitate both virtual and in-person opportunities.
Mentors play a vital role in our program, providing guidance, encouragement, and support to our program participants. They serve as positive role models, helping to instill confidence and self-esteem, and providing a safe space for young people to explore their goals and aspirations. If you are passionate about helping young people and making a meaningful difference in your community, we encourage you to consider becoming a mentor at Pathway to Promise. By sharing your time, skills, and knowledge, you can help to empower justice-involved youth and contribute to a brighter future for Virginia. Learn more about how you can get involved and make a difference today!

Partner With Us
At Pathway to Promise, we believe that community organizations have a crucial role to play in empowering justice-involved youth and helping them unlock their full potential. We welcome community partners who share our commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of young people.
If your organization is interested in helping, we invite you to reach out and learn more about how you can get involved. Whether it’s volunteering your time, providing resources, or partnering with us on a project, every contribution helps us support our program participants and create a brighter future.
By working together, we can break down the barriers to success for young people who face unique challenges and obstacles. We invite your organization to be a part of our vital mission and help us make a difference in the lives of the youth we serve and in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Student Internships
For students who are passionate about empowering justice-involved youth to recognize their potential, set/achieve goals, and build lives of freedom, responsibility, and self-sufficiency
Due to the capacity of the Pathway to Promises staff, we can only accommodate interns who are completing a minimum of 120 hours for an academic program.
*Please note: All internships are unpaid.
Interns can serve in two capacities – working directly with Case Managers and participant-centered programming or providing indirect service to participants by supporting Pathway to Promise and our service providers. If you are interested in a student internship with us:
- Send your resume and a writing sample to [email protected]
- After we receive your application, resume, and writing sample, we will send you a confirmation and invitation to interview, if applicable.
